Dennis Sigle

Since 1966 I graduated from Friends University, Wichita, 1970
Then went to graduate school Dallas Theological Seminary, 1971-75

Served 6 churches over 33 years as Pastor both in Kansas and Indiana.

Presently retired.
From 2007 - 2019 I taught as an Adjunct College Instructor at Cowley Co Community College: Marriage & Family and Pyschology.
Used to teach Ethics.
Has also taught at Tabor College from 2007 - 2014 (Wichita campus) and WATC since 2007. Subjects taught throughout my teaching career include: Philosophy, Ethics, Interpersonal Communications, Human Sexuality, Marriage and Family, Sociology, Public Speaking, Blble coursers: Life of Jesus, Life and Ministry of Christ and The Gospel of John, among others.

Also worked at Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS 2000 to 2004 as the Ass't Director of Admissions.

Earned my Master of Divinity degree in 1999. Earned my Doctorate of Ministry degree in 2003. From Andersonville Theological Seminary.

I married Cheryl Lynn Baxter in 1971. We happily celebrated our 48th. Wedding Anniversary on Feb1st.

Hobbies include YMCA. Had to sell my bike in 2014 which I rode across Kansas 2007 Play board games weekly with wife, daughter & son-in-law. On Saturday nights. Am an avid reader. Watch good movies and read a number of books (Various genres) per year.

While serving on the yearbook staff I drew a cartoon or two featuring HEP the Hippie. The teacher thought they were funny. I don't think anybody else did. Haha. The funny is: I was no artist or cartoonist. But I did cross off one item on my bucket list: to have a cartoon of mine published.

One thing that is never mentioned about the Great Peanut Butter Boycott. I never took part in the Great Peanut Boycott. But I paid the price. Not only did I get rude looks & yelled at. The cafeteria fought back. They're not as innocent as they appear in the newspaper. Instead of putting fresh food on the cafeteria line. They just put the same stuff that was unsold from day before. By Wednesday everything began to reek and tasted old & terrible. I remember thinking, "I hope the boycott ends soon.". I think towards the end of the boycott I brought a sack lunch so I wouldn't die of food poisoning.
