Wishing you a very upcoming Happy Birthday & many more ahead!
I first met Dale in my math class at Mayberry Junior High. One thing that I remember about Dale was how fast he could get around school. He would speed walk through the hallways. Our relationship continued at West High where we became best friends. Dale went for a semester or so to Kansas State but decided that it was not for him. When I got married in February of 1968: Dale was my best man. Dale joined the Air Force and was stationed several places including Alaska, the Dakota and in Oklahoma. When he first joined he was stationed in Blysville Arkansas. My wife and I and newborn son visited him there. Later we connected with Dale and his family in Oklahoma where he was stationed. When he retired from the Air Force he moved to Fort Worth, Texas. In a visit there Dale showed us Six Flags and the Mesquite rodeo. According to Dale's wife he was tested for the covid 19 which came back positive and within a couple of weeks he passed on. I will miss my friend. Dale knew the Lord so I will see him again.
