Carol Whitman Price

After graduation I worked at Beech Aircraft and Lear Jet for a short while. I met my husband at Lear, and we were activitated to Colorado Springs right before we married in 68. While there, our first daughter Stephanie was born, and we returned to central Kansas where Kenny was raised, and he helped his uncle on a dairy farm. I worked for Larned State Hospital for 34 years as an LMHT and then as a Administrative Assistant. My husband went to work for the Department of Corrections after spending some years farming and is retired.
We stick pretty close to home but do have a 5th wheel and go to the lake some. It seems like since we have retired we don't have the time to do the fun things we did when we were working. I spend some time volunteering at the greenhouse at the State hospital and at some Thrift shops in Larned. Of course we love to go to Salina and Lindsborg to see the Grands and Great. They are all such a joy.
I believe, with some ups and downs, my life has been very blessed. I truly hope all of yours has been also.
When I read about some of you on here, I smile as I can instantly picture you in my mind. I was very saddened to see that some who came to mind immediately, are no longer here on this earth.
