Henjung Jee Mar
March 23, 1946 - October 21, 2021
Wichita, Kansas - Mar, Henjung Jee, 75, crossed over on Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was a graduate of Wichita West High School, and received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Wichita State University. He was a lifelong math educator who retired from USD 259 after 29 years of service. Concurrently, he held numerous positions within the restaurant industry at a multitude of establishments up until his retirement a year ago.
Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 29th, 2021 at Old Mission Mortuary. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mona Hsiao; stepdaughter, Ramona Patrick; his sister, grandchildren, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Gene Wee
I remember Henjung was an avid chess player. Also remember he would deliver the morning news over the schoolwide PA system. Back then I was embarrassed by his accented English, being a recent immigrant to the US. Now, I appreciate people who struggle with English as that means they're already fluent in another language. - Gene Mar Wee, also class of 66
