Ron Wycoff, age 64 of Rowlett, TX, passed away March 29, 2011. He was born July 6, 1946, in Pampa, TX, to William and Sarah (Womack) Wycoff. Ron graduated from Wichita State with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and further education in business and accounting, which he put to use in service with the IRS for 20 years. He was a member of the Dallas Amateur Radio Club, Toast Masters, Lions Club of Wichita, and served as president of the Independent Living Center in Wichita. Due to an accident at the age of 15, Ron was a quadriplegic for 49 years, but even with this challenge in life, he will be remembered as a kind and considerate man by all who knew him. A resident of Rowlett for 17 years, Ron was a member of Lake Pointe Church. He always put the Lord first place in his life. Family was so important to him and he had a special relationship and so much love for all of his nieces, great-nephews, great great-nieces and nephews.

Ron is survived by his wife of 22 years: Ruth Wycoff of Rowlett, TX; brother: William “Bodie” Wycoff and wife Maria of Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents.

To my sweetheart:  “I will miss your baby blue eyes and your smile. You will be greatly missed by your whole family. You have gone to the Lord and you are free of pain. Enjoy your new life, your new freedom with the Lord.” Your sweetheart, Ruth.

A memorial service will be held 10:00am Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Lake Pointe Chapel with Pastor Ed Middleton officiating. Memorials may be made to Lake Point Church.
