|Dandurand, Beverly Lynn Thornton, beloved mother, grandmother and daughter passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, January 12th, 2010, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beverly was born to Verne and Eileen Thornton on November 15th, 1948. Bev made many lifelong friends and was loved by all who knew her. Memorial services will be held at Resthaven Mortuary at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 15th, 2010. Proceeded in death by her mother Eileen Thornton, survived by her father Verne F. Thornton and stepmother Beverly S. Thornton of Wichita, KS, her brother Robert Thornton and wife Kim of Clearwater, KS, Daughters Tiffani Boyd and husband Dave, Ashley Gelvin-Tracy and husband Mike, all of Lawrence, KS, Grandchildren Kayleigh Sellens, Kanissa Bell, Ian Sellens, Koree Bell, Morgan Tracy, Kammi Bell, Jonah Boyd and McKenna Tracy all of Lawrence, KS.
