Obituary for Linda Diane Miner

Linda Diane Miner, 65, passed away May 3, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Linda was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 4, 1948; she was the 2nd of 3 children born to Paul and Neola Kennedy. After graduating from high school, Linda married the love of her life, Tom Miner. The two were married April 22, 1972, and just recently celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary. Linda and Tom raised two daughters, Debbie and Rachel. Linda would later open her home and heart to her "adopted" family and friends. Linda had the heart of a servant and helped anyone and everyone that needed it. She helped with several missions locally and was always doing what she could for neighbors and friends. Linda was a member of Eastland Assembly of God, and she taught Sunday School to the children there. She also enjoyed singing at the church and had written several songs, having recorded her own cd's. Linda cherished the time she spent with her family and always wanted to spend as much time with her grandson Jacob, as she could; she would say she needed her "Jacob Fix". When she wasn't spending time with family, she loved gardening, cooking, and traveling. One of her most memorable trips was taking a tour to Israel. Linda will always be remembered by her family and friends for her kind and giving spirit.
