000318 Grantz - Donald Gene Grantz passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at his home
in New Orleans, LA at the age of 59. He was a New Orleanian for 35 years and in the
furniture business until 2005. Don was a Harley rider and a lifetime HOG member. He was
a coach at Kenilworth Playground in the NORD system while the kids were growing up. Don
loved his family and he loved his life. Survived by his beloved wife, Sande; and his
children: Derek and his wife, Julie, Dylan, Deonne and her husband, Brent Hanley and
Denver. Also survived by two grandchildren who brought such joy to his life: Brooke and
Bryce Hanley. He was the son of Jean Galloup of Wichita, Kansas and the late Ray R.
Grantz. Brother of Janet and her husband, Jack Dumcum of Wichita, Kansas. A devoted
husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He will be sadly missed by those whose
lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on
Monday, September 10th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the White Dove Fellowship, 3600 Manhattan
Blvd., Harvey, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Noah Rebuild,
